: Lionel Messi Wins A Record 5Th Ballon D'or Award

A collection of the world’s best footballers were in Zurich this evening to see Lionel Messi win his fifith Ballon d’Or award.

The Argentine forward pipped Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar to add to the trophies he won in 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012.

However, though Messi’s win was the crowning glory of the night, a host of other stars turned up as the team of the year and Puskas goal of the year awards were announced.

Nowadays, almost as much attention is paid to what the superstars are wearing as to the awards itself.
